"Bear" at 10 years old
A little bit of history and accomplishments.....
"Bear" at just 21 months old weighed in at 100# and that remained Bears optimal weight.
He received an OFA Preliminary rating of Good at 13 months.
"Bear" placed 1st in his class in every American Bulldog Specialty Show he attended.
He placed either Best Puppy or Best of Breed in every show except one puppy show.
"Bear" finished his A.B.A. Championship in Virginia on September 13, 1997 at 13 months of age.
He finished with three consecutive Best In Show wins.
"Bear" was the second American Bulldog to ever receive an A.B.A. Championship right behind Turbo and Bear was also the youngest champion.
He then went on to become the first ABA Grand Champion in May of 2000 and an NKC Supreme Grand Champion! To date Bear is the only American Bulldog to become a Tri Grand Champion!
"Bear" has also earned the title of Junior Champion with the American Rare Breed Association
and did so at 8 months of age at the Cherry Blossom Classic in April, 1997.
"Bear" received his obedience and protection work training with Keith O'Sullivan of Stonewall Kennels.
With Keith's expert training and handling, "Bear" earned his C.G.C. title, as well as his B.S.T. title
at the American Bulldog Classic on May 16th and 17th consecutively.

Bear, at 2 years old became OFA Certified-Good!
Bear is also NCL-Clear!
Bear also has his Utility Catchdog title. He received his CDIII title in the wilds of Florida under inspectors Lem Miller, Alan Scott and Don Matthews.
Bear is also a ranked IronDog, receiving that title in Illinois in 2000 with handler, Matt Karasek.
Bear is now 10 years old and is retired from the show and working rings. He is still available for stud to approved bitches. Bear was recently bred to CH. C&S Farms "A little bit of Cash" aka Penni and we are anxiously awaiting their arrival! Bear has sired working,show and hip certified offspring.
Above is a picture of Bear as he looks today. He still enjoys running through the woods and playing with his kids!! Bear is one of the best dogs that we have ever owned and we are very greatful for the opportunity to have him as part of our family! Thank you Eric for spotlighting our wonderful boy!
